Born and raised in New York City, Caroline Chakeris has always been drawn to style, creativity, and thoughtful design. She founded Madison Mathews in 2012, after struggling to find the perfect shirt – something effortlessly stylish, flattering and wearable for everyday life. What began as a personal search quickly grew into a brand rooted in collaboration and timeless fashion. Caroline has built a company culture centered on mentorship and joy. She values the input of her team while creating an atmosphere that feels like family.

Today, our team works closely together to create thoughtful, easy-to-wear pieces designed for real life while fostering a warm, family-style environment for both staff and customers. As the brand has grown, we’ve remained committed to maintaining the boutique, community-focused feel that built us from the start. From small-batch production to personal relationships with our customers, everything we do is rooted in making people feel welcomed, comfortable, and connected.
